Hello from the founder
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Natalia Pavanelli and I am the founder/ creator of Wandwoods.
This brand was born from awakening into my real self. As a little girl, I would run away to be with nature and be alone with my imagination in any piece of green land I could find. I was very privileged and travelled all over Europe as a child, resulting in a flourished creativity and deep introversion.
Today I bring you a little piece of my world of enchantments with my art. I hope you enjoy it!
Finding Cottagecore
It all started with a switch of mindset. When I was first introduced to Cottagecore I fell in love with something I always pursued, but couldn’t put a name to it.
But what is Cottagecore?
It is a concept that pursues a simpler, sustainable existence that is more harmonious with nature. Aesthetically, it’s a nod to the traditional English countryside style, romantic and nostalgic, like the tales of Jane Austen. For me, it was a transformation, a path to discovering my true-self, an encounter with a lost sense of happiness found in the little things in life.
Discovering this community and aesthetic has opened my eyes to what I’ve always wanted: to create something of my own, my own identity in the fashion industry.
With over 10 years of experience in the field, I am ready to take my place in the sustainable fashion market, to remind you all that we need a switch. Either a switch off from stress, or a switch in the way we consume, the way we see life. Wandwoods is here to crossover with you, reminding you about the little pieces of happiness, those precious and beautiful moments that pass like a butterfly.
From passion to business
Transforming a passion into business is not easy. It requires courage, discipline and most importantly, believe that the love you have for it will push you through on the hard times, especially the financial ones.
However to me, there was no other way. After so many years of serving in the industry I was finally ready to take my place in the market and Cottagecore gave me the truth identity and voice to do it.
